The German Embassy will open its traditional Christmas market on 26 November this year starting from 16:00 and closing at 20:00. The embassy organizes the market each year in support of charitable causes. Germans in Macedonia join hands to make this event a great success, especially to attract as many sales as possible, since the money goes to the Old People’s Home and to children with special needs in Macedonia.
The German Christmas market is a real delight for the eyes and a cache of treasure, offering a great variety of products that are typical for the German speaking world. This year the market stands will include handmade wooden objects made by children with special needs. In addition, visitors will find homemade cookies, Christmas cakes, German Bratwurst and mulled wine, calendars, Christmas wheels, a wide variety of decorations and handcrafts.
By participating in this market you will not only have fun and have the chance to find typically German products, but also to demonstrate a generous Christmas spirit and spread a bit of Christmas cheer among some of those who need it most.

The bratwurst they served at the Christmas market was absolutely delicious!!! They had also mulled wine…mmm… All in all great fun!
