Svetlana (Ceca) Velichkovic-Raznjatovic, the hugely popular Serbian pop folk singer will appear at the Boris Trajkovski Arena on 26 November. She is loved all around former Yugoslavia. Her concerts are always greeted with enthusiasm because she knows how to charm an audience. Her lyrics and melodies, a mixture of Southern Europe, Latin and Oriental styles, elicit a strong emotional response.
She has recorded a dozen albums which have sold over 10 million copies, mainly in the Balkan region. Some of her best known songs include, “Worse than Love,” “Chick,” “Manta, Manta,” “Coward,” and “Belgrade.”
Ceca is popular also for her active participation in the “Third Child” humanitarian fund, whose principal goal is to increase the birthrate in Serbia. She has also held several humanitarian concerts raising money for food, clothing, and sundries to benefit the Serbs in Kosovo.
