Global Entrepreneurship Week

gew-for-webGlobal Entrepreneurship Week, 15-21 November 2010, is a celebration of entrepreneurship aiming to unleash young people’s enterprising ideas and address some of society’s biggest issues, from poverty reduction to climate change. More than 70 countries are currently signed up to run their very own versions of Enterprise Week.

This year marks the second time it will be organized in Macedonia.  More than 30 organizations will run events and activities in order to encourage people to make things happen, either by starting up a new business or social enterprise, or by developing them in their current workplace.

Specific events include a forum on the challenges facing entrepreneurs in Macedonia,  a conference entitled Responsible Youth Entrepreneurship: Creating a Culture of Anti-corruption in the Private Sector, and a forum on building brands in Macedonia.  See the complete agenda or register online.

Macedonian participation in the Global Entrepreneurship Week is organized by the Youth Entrepreneurial Services (YES) Foundation and the Agency for Promotion of Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Macedonia (APERM).
